I knew it was a matter of time. First comes The mishmash of random, scattered carbon bits That effectively make a car look like a checkerboard, then comes the fog lights.

Unless you are going for a win in a class, a perpetual Personal Best lap, or there's money on the line, I wouldn't bother with aerodynamics on a street car. I only say that because aero is costly, time consuming, an ongoing chore, and needs to be though out well. Not having it set up right will...
Sounds like mounting points are easy enough. Get some birch plywood. If you have access to a splitter to trace, there ya go. If not, you can just measure out from your bumper cover to the length you need. We tend to use rivnuts, nuts, bolts, l-brackets, etc. Home Depot is your friend. Again...
I would agree that we need to look at the underside of the car first. I started to make a plywood splitter for one of my other cars, turned out to be a lot more engineering involved and parts being made that I didn't have way to fabricate. Other people had done at successfully, but it always...
My advice is same as most:
1. If your car is safe enough for the street, it's safe enough for the track so get out there. You don't need race car parts. Go slow, have fun. Nobody will notice, much less make fun of you for it.
2. Buy brake pads and fluid first. Keep driving.
3. Buy 200tw tires...
I didn't mind them at all on the Evo. I have no complaints about them. I do feel the Raybestos ST43 pad was better, though. I am 100% certain they will eventually make a pad for our car, can't wait. Other than that I tried CL pads, wasn't really a fan. The ST43s were the most boat anchor pad I...
I see people that install black and CF-colored parts and it looks unfinished, IMO. This car looks like it was a salvage rebuild and still needs paint. ?
Any car I've ever driven has the speedometer reading a few miles per hour over. It is pretty good at keeping most people driving closer to the speed limit.
If you took a poll, you would probably find most of us with AT Supras probably have at least one other car with a MT, in the garage. I'm not sure any of us MT guys would give up on them altogether.
