I was having similar thoughts. At times it looked like he was letting it roll back with a clutch or even putting it into reverse while rolling, which you generally can't do with an auto. Hard to tell though.

I need to have a look around for that. I had a 6spd IS250 because I didn't want the auto in the 350... but that was a pretty weak transmission even behind the 250. Still better than an auto though.

A Toyota interior would be ideal, but seems likely that they'll just put a Toyota steering wheel in the BMW interior. I wish they'd at least come up with a better looking shifter than that ugly BMW thing.

That's fine. Mostly just curious why you were saying that. People have posted some ridiculous theories on here, so a little explanation is helpful.

I'm certainly not saying you're wrong, but I cannot understand how some of you on here come to these conclusions. What are you basing this off of? Someone not long ago said that they think the LED strip below the headlight will change colors..... again, I can't say you're wrong.... but what?

The 300ZX TT made 300hp compared to the R34 GTR's 276hp. Not saying one is better than the other, just wanted to clear that up. :p

I've never driven a non-M (or M Sport) that felt like something I would consider "the ultimate driving machine". Actually, I take that back. The older cars were worthy of that label. E30s, E34s, etc. I don't feel it in the newer cars though.

No doubt, give me a 350hp I6 manual over a 250hp I4 manual. There's been zero indication that that will be an option though. Based on what we've heard, the comparison is I6 auto or I4 manual. That poll isn't fair to the 4cyl option. Of course we would prefer more power vs less power (I6 vs I4), but the transmission is key for a lot of us. Make a poll for a 4cyl with manual transmission vs I6 with auto. Pulling numbers out of the air, I would say half of the people who chose "6...
