The spacer was required because we used a taller tire in a model/compound that ran wide (yoko A052). I built a fairly in-depth guide to running a 10" wheel up front on these cars based on our 18x10 ET30 wheel fitment that you may find useful: https://www.supramkv.com/threads/►-apex-18x10-et30-technical-notes-tire-fitment-and-more.10958/

It has an image catalog of various fitments (wheels and tires) and their clearances to the OE strut.

is everything in there 18"? can we install the oem 19" rear wheels and tires on the front with just a 5mm spacer or is more needed? I know spec wise the rear wheel will extend 5mm but you'll have 21mm less inner clearance. FYI I do plan on installing KW's which are way thinner of a coil over OEM's girth.

Correct, that thread is built specifically to provide information about our 18x10 ET30 wheel. If we are comparing the factory rear supra wheel to the APEX SM-10 featured in that post, the factory rear wheel would sit 10mm closer to the inner strut than our 18x10 ET30 wheel. We haven't tested KWs on these cars yet, but if they dramatically improve inner clearance by 10mm or more, a spacer-free fitment might be possible.

We've heard from one owner of a test car who swapped the rear wheel to the front with the factory rear tire that a 12.5mm spacer was required to prevent rubbing with the OE suspension, but we haven't independently verified that spacer requirement. Ultimately this testing isn't something that we prioritized as we are focused on how our wheels fit on the cars rather than the OE wheels for obvious reasons.

One other thing to keep in mind is that the 275/35-19 factory rear tire is quite tall for the front. I've seen it work on cars running alignment and suspension mods like this one: https://www.supramkv.com/threads/►-...owroom-gallery-thread.8259/page-4#post-146899
You may need to adjust your alignment with that tire if you want to completely eliminate rubbing.

We're loving both the OEM+ look of the staggered SM-10s as well as the aggressive square track fitment the 18" EC-7RS provides.

Both designs are discounted currently. The EC-7RS can be found on our website and is discounted through the end of the month.
The 19" SM-10s are included in a wider SM-10 Group Buy that is well on its way to reaching the Max Discount.

Whether you're prepping for a new street fitment or planning your next set of rotatable track wheels, these sales represent a great option to get on a set of APEX wheels without breaking the bank.

19" VS-5RS render complete:

We're still waiting on our sample set of the 19" VS-5RS wheels, but we think these renders do a great job of showcasing these wheels in Brushed Clear on the MKV Supra chassis. These photos are based on our standard 19" staggered fitment of 19x9.5 ET25 front and 19x11 ET40 available to pre-order on our Group Buy. More renders and on-car photos coming soon.

Im looking to purchase a set of 19' staggered SM10's and mount NT555G2 in 275/35r19 on the fronts and NT555R2 in 305/35r19 on the rears. Im trying to keep the suspension stock due to poor/hilly roads. Could I potential run into rubbing issues with this setup?

They made a really good guide for fitting tires on the car.
https://support.apexraceparts.com/hc/en-us/articles/1260802325669-GR-Supra-Wheel-Tire-Fitment-Guide

Also if you look through this thread there may be a few more examples of what could fit.

And for part of your question, I'm fairly certain 305/35/19 is too tall for the rear. You'd need to do 305/30/19 to prevent any issues.

Thanks for linking the guide!

I would actually be concerned about the tire height for both the front and rear wheels and tires. We've tested a 275/30-19 up front and a 265/35-19 without rubbing, but the 275/35-19 may get some rubbing under suspension compression or when the steering is at full lock.

305/35-19 will likely rub in the rear as @comic0guy guy said. I would stick to 305/30-19 as a tried and true rear fitment with good availability.

If you are looking for a setup with taller tire sidewalls, our 18" wheels might be the better option.

Let us know if you have any other questions!
