I know this is an old thread, but hoping someone can answer a couple of questions. I very rarely (if ever) track this car, and am curious about running a square setup (same size wheel and tire front and rear) in order to rotate them properly. I’d like to maximize tire life without sacrificing stability or ride quality. Specifically I am curious about a 10” wheel front and rear, running 275s all around. Any wheel recommendations? Will the front fit a 10” wheel with 275s? What offset do I need? Thanks in advance y’all. Note: the car has not been lowered, and is on factory suspension.

I have 275/35 up front with +25 offset on 9.5s, and I'm running RS-R Superdown springs which are the lowest drop of any spring (afaik). No rubbing. If I had crappier roads in my city, I'd run 275/30 for more clearance. But the +25 offset versus the usual +22 was key to fitting the 275/35 cleanly. The few extra millimeters pull-in away from the fender line was all it needed.

So you can use something like WillTheyFit to compare my 19x9.5 275/35 setup to your planned 10" setup to find an offset that gets you to the same place.

I'm running PS4 Michelin 275x35x19 in the front 305x39x19 rear. No rubbing whatsoever and I also run HKS adjustable spring

Awesome thanks for the input. Another question, regarding wheel diameter this time. Pros and cons of running 20” vs factory 19”? Or dropping to an 18”? Especially in the looks department. Do you guys running 18” wheels think there’s “too much” rubber on the outside?

All the engineers and OEM factory did All the research and have proven time and time again 19" is the best diameters for the kind of car, I would keep the 19" just improve on the width of tires to gain better traction.

This is one of those times where 'blanket statements are bad.' 19 is huge for drag, You need to go down to 16, 17, or 18 to get a decent drag radial or slick on there for the track with some actual meat on the tire.

Depends on the offset. A 30mm offset means you will need to watch tire section width closely. It can limit your tire selection.

I spoke to an engineer at Variant (looking now at the Variant Radon’s) who said they can design the offset to the millimeter for different setups. They’re thinking somewhere between 25 and 28 to run a 275 in the front. Will keep this thread updated for others interested in square setups.
