Not sure if it has been metioned yet in this thread, but wait until some of the CA folks see that they are scanning your ECU for the proper OEM Checksum...

Also, I was surprised on how loud the Supra exhaust is in Sport Mode in a stock car at low RPMS....the car really doesn't need an aftermarket exhaust for sound.

I still want to understand the actual gains of a catless DP vs a high flow catted DP? I know the catted costs more but from my understanding gains are minimal under 700hp or so.
Before high flow cat, made about 5psi at 3k rpm, after car makes 18psi at 2900 rpm. AA catted. I have logs showing this. Pretty dang good increase and no cel.

I want to move, CA has been getting on my last fucking nerves. The biggest one is $5/gallon for gas, almost $4/gallon for E85. Everything is all fucked all sorts of ways here in CA.
Can confirm.
California is just getting outrageous.
They are also talking about charging 4 cents per mile in San Diego.

Just don't come to Nevada please... we've got enough already. I swear some days I get surprised when I see a car that doesn't have Cali plates on it.

I'd welcome in all the refugees if they actually appreciated what made them move here. Unfortunately, they come here and then vote for exactly the same policies (and politicians) that put their state in the dumpster.

Don't really understand all the cali slander in this thread-- it's always been pay to play out here, especially in socal, nothing new lol. Has never really hurt the car scene or tuners, LA's always been the place to be. Gas prices, tickets etc blah blah we're all used to it.

I understand wanting to move out of CA if you're inland or more rural, but man once you've lived within 10 minutes of the beach it just hits different. Not many things better than driving PCH with the windows down. Sure I'd like to run E50 + big turbo without cali laws, but I could have also just bought a faster car. Solution? Gotta make more money ?

Yeah - you have to deal with heat, sand, and people that like the beach - 10 minutes in beach land, and I'm ready to go back to Brooklyn or Chicago - and fast.

Hey y'all, it ya boi Auto Delight here. Please make sure to like and subscribe and hit that notification bell!

All jokes aside, the no CAT thing is definitely a good way to get ref'd.
Being a CA native all my life as well, I have become accustomed to the way CA runs and what the expectation is. Yeah, I get irritated every so often about the laws here but if i'm breaking it, i know what to expect. I've gotten away with no front plates for 15 years and am not surprised when i do get one. I bought license plate brackets just in case i do get caught and have to get it signed off. With people who are unhappy about CA laws, should pick up and head to Texas :)

Yuppp, growing up in Venice Beach was a blessing. Would gladly pay my shitty taxes just to keep with this weather.

I can ride my GSXR all year. Go from chilling in Venice, riding up PCH, slap the scare actors at Universal Hollywood, and finally retire for some amazing Prime Rib at Lawrys in the same day.

No state is perfect and if you're happy, you're happy. But I don't get how people can hate on Cali when they have never lived here before. At least come get double taxed here or pay the +$5 per gallon cost for a bit to sound like a angry Californian. :p

But the real people from Cali know, it's not the locals who complain the most here, it's the people moving here to live the old Cali dream, then get stuck with high cost of living they didn't prepare for. :p

This is facts, california born and raised but even my own home state is pissing me off, it really seems like California is it's own entity.. every one who's from different states (texas, nevada, SC, Georgia, etc) has told me that they hate it here in California because it's "stupid" to them for all the high taxing... don't even get me started with the stupid rules and sections that go against our car enthusiast lifestyle. It seems like the state was never made for everyone. I have no problem staying here but when i see what opportunities and everything i'll be gaining, it makes it hard. But in return also, i'll be sacrificing the beaches, GREAT MEXICAN FOOD, the abundance of E85 around me like it's normal pump everywhere and pretty much the lifestyle. And yeah, i can buy a faster car too like you stated but i love the Supra too much, been a fan of the Supra line up since i was in High School. Dreamed of owning a MKIV and the moment i saw the new design for the MKV Supra back in 2019, i knew i had to have it. So theres apparently no solution for me. ? break the law or be the sheeple.
Register your shit in Montana or Florida and problem solved

Hey OP, your signature says that you're catless so I'm a bit confused by your post.

On a side note, I was in San Diego last week and I can't get over how nice that area is! I hit up Karl Strauss & Alesmith and I can't wait to go back and try some other places.
Just don’t try to rent an apartment here. You’d have to sell your Supra to afford it?
