    It’s interesting to me that the VIN number doesn’t seem to have a whole lot to do with the launch edition plaque number.

    There was a guy on fb trying to flip two Supras. Bad enough trying to find one at msrp then have to deal with flippers that might have gotten theirs at, or near, msrp. :flame:

    agreed, almost makes it pointless for the badge numbers. Usually "Special edition" vehicles you can tell by the VIN what number you are. IE- old muscles cars and etc. But not sure why Toyota didnt do that.

    So other than the actual sticker from the car showing that these are launch additions, particularly for the red ones, how would we verify a car as a launch edition? Why not just get red mirror caps, the black wheels and a appliqué from a local graphics company and slap it on the dashboard?

    I wonder if some prices will fall after this past weekend. If you cant sell with a mark up on the first weekend when the hype is the highest I doubt you'll sell it.
