Base trim will have manual option, heard it here first folks. Maybe they'll also offer manual windows to give our manual shoppers an even more primitive experience XD
To the manual version on the anemic 190 hp version of the car. Yeah, guys, screw the ebtter, more horsepower version of the car that shits on ours any day of the week, manual is da best.

I hate the manual amntra, what can the car achieve by itself? Like the cayman s

Well either way, I hope the manual people enjoy their outdated and slower transmission ;)
Although you are right some of us have different views on what makes a car fun for us. It's like a gaming system: You can go with a PS4, Xbox One, or PC (which allows you to do more). All have just about the same games and get the job done. But some of us prefer gaming on PC because of all the other functions you're able to do while others just prefer a game console. I'm all for the latest Auto or DCT for this car but don't forget those who still prefer a clutch and gear box which to this point is close to 50% on this forum I'd say. Give us choices and keep everyone happy is all I'm saying :D.

I still think a manual is a throwback mechanicthat keeps enthusiast engaged only because it reminds them of their youth.

Often the choice to have a manual comes at the cost of development money that could be better spent elsewhere on the vehicle. Manuals are slower than automatics now. I'll never for the life of me understand what attachment manual people have to pressing a 3rd petal since you can now control shifting through automanuals now too.

You can control steering electronically with no connection to a steering rack with great success too. I'll take a hard pass though.

Pass all you want, in the end the superior method is the method I prefer.
