Will the "embargo" be broken before Detroit?

  1. Yes, the press embargo will be broken before the Detroit Auto Show.

  2. No, automotive journalists may be tempted... but it won't happen.

  3. What's an "embargo"?

I guess the one they will show us in Detroit is red. Red with a few white, grey and black stickers. In the end it will look something like that:

Call me crazy, but I really did it: Just booked a flight to Detroit to visit the NAIAS on January 19th. Is anyone with me?

What's the flight duration? 10 or so hours? That's not too bad :)

Including a 4 hour stopover in London Heathrow it’s about 14 hours. The long term flight from London is round about 9 hours.

Haha damn bro, you're crazy. Although I guess I technically flew to Tokyo for the same reason with less than impressive results haha.

I will likely be there for the 14-15th for the press days, but I might come back up with some friends around the 19th so if I do, I'll get in touch and we can have a SupraMKV.com World Summit in Detroit :p

You do not know how jealous I am! But being there for the press dates is unfortunately not possible for me.

So I’m looking forward to the 19th in hope to get close in touch with the Supra.

And if we could meet some other crazy supramkv.com guys - I’m in! :)

I'm not as crazy, but I'm definitely down for a supramkv.com meetup at Detroit! :nixon:

    Good man!

The longer your way to Detroit, the more you’re crazy by default. :D

This video is soooo appropriate for the longest strip tease reveal of a car ever. One leg at a time they show us...

So does anyone know if the msrp will be announced at this show? Or does that happen later on?

My guess will be no. They may announce a ballpark number, but they'll toss in a caveat like "models and options are still being finalized..."
