Why cherry pick? Imo 100kg weight loss should be noticeable for any good driver, since all other reviewers noticed it. When I drop passenger on the track from fun lap to srs time laps its instantly noticeable. They also said that 2.0 has more turbo lag than 3.0 and some miss adaptive suspension. I'm not hating on 3.0 by any means, just trying to draw neutral conclusions from comparing the two. Both are lovely, esp since 3.0 in 2021 seem to make around 440 crank hp. That with mild tune can get 500hp, kinda insane.I was just trying to make a quick neutral wrap up, but if you want to cherry pick then the guy from TFL said the 2.0 motor and tranny don't pair too well together and he didn't feel the weight differences between the two and the 3.0 was more fun in his opinion. Regardless, none of this changes the conclusion, 3.0 > 2.0. Obviously you get what you pay for and it depends on your wants and needs.
3.0 wins again

BTW here we got a chance to get 2.0 with premium 3.0 stuff (seats, e-diff, suspension etc)
Right, from day one I have said a 2.0 makes sense for markets such as Japan & EU with emissions, engine displacement tax, high gas prices, etc. But Idk how successful it will be in the US. Even Toyota USA has forecast only a 20% sales and production rate for the 2.0 model. The difference here is big, its OVER 1/3 cheaper actually, 3.0 vs base 2.0. Premium 2.0 is like 30% cheaper still. So having the car that handles just as good/bit better than 3.0 for the cost of being slower is still very interesting option.
I predict low 40k, like 41 for base in US
That’s coming in 2022 along with the 3jzToyota still hasn't fixed the buffeting issues.

Tax for 2.0 motor here is like 3%. For 2.0+ is almost 19% so... Base 718 10k Euro more (with no options ofc, when I configured 718 I got easily 10k in extras that I rly wanted). Alpine A110? 10k more. Mustang is simmilar price but that is a 1700kg+ boat. M2? 20k more. F Type 2.0? 20k more.Right, from day one I have said that a 2.0 makes sense for markets such as Japan & EU with emission testing, engine displacement tax, high gas prices, etc. But Idk how successful it will be in the US.
