If you want to experience true wind buffeting....drive a Chevrolet Blackhawk....AKA Volt..any year. One of the best cars I've ever owned, but they are ready for liftoff from the factory. šŸ¤£

Shout out for this simple fix. Installed these and have had no issues with the dreaded Toyota wind thump. Super easy installation that matches perfectly with the gloss black finish of the installation area.
My experience has been these don't work well at higher speeds (100mph+), just FYI.

I'm not a 100% sure but I guess it has to do with the place ur driving in. if its a crammed space more buffeting. But I do get what your saying I have a 2022 and sometimes I cruise up to 60 or 70 without and issue and sometimes at 50 it starts

I have a 2023 premium and there is very little buffeting at almost any speed. At least no more than my CRV daily. I had already bought the little cheap triangles to put on but donā€™t think I need them. I donā€™t have the carbon caps on the mirrors so maybe something different there.

@Supraluv @MrNobody Post a picture so we can compare to earlier models.

I installed M-style mirror caps (sharp edged, not blunt) on mine which fixed the buffeting.

never have the issue that everyone has been concerned about
I found it was very much dependent on wind speed and direction. Some tacks it was no more than driving with the windows down. But change the tack and you get the oscillation between high and low pressure in the car; thump, thump thump down the road. I think what frustrates people is that it's both so easy to replicate and it's such an easy fix that why Toyota/BMW not do it in first place. Or not do it 3-4 years into the model.

I think Toyota and BMW just leave it alone under the excuse that "Supra owners modify their cars" and they leave it to the owners to "fix".

Hell, I don't even have my Supra yet and I already have a pile of parts in the garage waiting to go on the car and even more on their way.

Mine are factory installed oem carbon fiber blunt style. Same style caps as the photo that mushx posted.

My head feels like it's going to explode above 40 mph in my '23. I installed anti-wind buffeting add-ons the 2nd day I had the car and it almost eliminated it.

I installed the above pictured CF M style aftermarket mirror caps a week ago and they reduce the wind buffetting. I previously installed the AMS CF windbuffetting kit above, before that. Both are easy installs. I found the AMS pieces reduce but do not eliminate the Wind buffetting by themselves, especially at speeds over 65mph. They are costly but I wanted to retain the CF for my CF edition.
