Only one of the midsize SUVs is body-on-frame though, and that's the 4Runner. They all have their own purpose and market segments to compete in.

Exactly right. 4Runner is the one I bought, specifically because of BoF.

2020 Launch Edition / 2018 4Runner TRD
I'm a big 4runner fan, but I don't like this at all. It seems to steal back a ton of it's ruggedness.
Right. I was looking at 2024 Sequoia TRD Pro to replace my 5th gen 4Runner, but they’re all WAY overpriced around me. I was recently put onto the Lexus GX550 Overtrail and REALLY like the looks of it.
