Test of Fuji Speedway limited edition. 1 of 200, 1470kg weight, he says its lighter around 70kg than 3.0 they tested.
He prefers 2.0 coz:
- 3.0 is 50% more expensive here (220k PLN vs 316k PLN)
- 2.0 turns in sharper, lacks any understeer on corner entry compared to 3.0 and feels generally lighter and more agile coz of the engine moved further back. Generally he feels like he is driving much lighter car than the paper weight suggest and difference compared to 3.0 is definately noticeable. This seems to be in line with what japanesse race drivers came up with comparing 2.0 to 3.0.
- 2.0 souds worse but our 3.0 is not superb either, since it has additional OPF which further mutes the sound, as I heared EU cars are the worst sounding with US being the loudest and best
- 2.0 fuel difference is actually small
- 2.0 is just as drift happy as 3.0
- 2.0 accelerates faster than he expected
He was very sceptical before the test but it turned 180 degrees after driving one.
Another test I red of the same car, tester prefered 2.0 to 3.0 too for its more agile handling and light-feel.
