5 days after catted Active Autowerke downpipe and a CEL popped up

Haven't checked it yet but thats all I have for performance mods and the install wasn't the best as the bracket seemed to be bent. Has anyone else gotten a CEL from their downpipe? They guarantee No CEL but here I am most likely with one from the downpipe.

Edit: P0420 was the code I just pulled from the reader, this is really disappointing.

Not sure but I'm pretty upset about this considering it's a no CEL guarantee.

I have the powerneedy Catted DP. Also got a cel sheet about 40-50 miles or so.

I think essentially there is no way around it.... I'm using a piggyback tune from Titan. I think even a full tune they just hide the cel but technically it's still there

50 miles? wow yeah I put on almost 500 since and this morning it popped up. I guess I'm gonna talk to my tuner about it on Monday

I think it was me getting on it hard and being on the Titan tune 4 versus 3. I cleared it and will see if it comes right back

I have a PowerNeedy Catted DP myself (uses the same GESI cat). No CELs on my end. I did get it Swaintech coated prior to the install so that may helped with the P0420 code.

I would suggest giving Active Autowerkes a call and see what they can help you out with.

Do u have a tune?? How many miles do u have on the DP?

I'm titan protune map 3 and 4. Map 4 seemed to be what triggered it.

No CEL tonight, not sure what is up but I'm still probably going to get a STG 2 tune from my tuner, we will see what he says tomorrow.

I can't speak for this brand, but my Frequency Intelligent catted 200CEL downpipe never gave my any CEL in the 2K miles I ran it without a tune. I am currently tuned stage 2 for about 300 miles and no issues with this still.

Are the o2 sensors correctly bolted in place?

Hopefully you can get this resolved.
