I like the A91-CF interior significantly more.. but that price tag.. oof.
Agreed. Those red seats would've looked incredible in my Refraction Blue A91 lol!

Damn you Toyota

How much is the TRD carbon package on it's own? The lip, skirts, bumper pieces and lip? That's probably close to the price increase of the CF edition.

Edit: $11,800 from Japanparts, before shipping and handling, and without the wheels. So price isn't that crazy for the A91-CF

My launch edition was $58000 in California, many people paid $10000+ markup to get the car when they first released. I don't think Toyota will have any issues with a $65000 MSRP on the CF version

They still have the regular 3.0 premium for the ones that don't want to spend that type of money

I guess my simple question is why is it 68K? Nothing different except maybe 1500 worth of CF at the manufacturer level at most. Interior is nice looking but thatā€™s not a price upgrade.

Lol the OEM lip on the A91 alone was $1200, what do you think an entire kit is? I priced out the TRD kit on Japanparts, just under $12k without shipping.

I think $1200 mass produced actually sounds pretty close to right. OP here is talking wholesale, but we all know thatā€™s irrelevant in this industry.

Yeah exactly. Maybe they made 1000 kits 2 years ago thinking they'd sell them, and they haven't so they stuck 600 of them on cars and called it a special edition

I work for Toyota and I can tell you this stuff is nowhere near what retail is so yeah 1500 is probably not to far off when you factor the price of the standard pieces your replacing taken off. I know the TRD items price and they are way more than a traditional OEM Toyota piece and these arenā€™t marketed as TRD pieces on this car. Now I know manufacturing costs and retail costs are a different animal but 10k over a 3.0 premium is a bit much

They'll sell them all without a problem. I'm curious how much the pieces will be individually in USD.

Oh you are so right about selling them. That will be no issue at all. ?? Iā€™d say big money individually if I had to guess. lol

You know what's next? Special edition will come with "delete" options. They remove items to make the car lighter, then charge you extra to put them back in as an option.
