Active Sound Design fuse?

Does one such exist? I’m planning on unplugging it but thought maybe there’s just a fuse for it? Seems to good to be true and if possible, I’m sure someone would have already done it and posted about it.

I see there’s a possible 10 fuses related to the media but can’t find what each fuse is specifically for. Just a thought and appreciate any advice.

Use bimmercode. You need an OBD2 dongle though.

BimmerCode is $30, as far as I know there is only demo mode without paying.

You can just unplug the module, see link.

Just plug back in when you do the brake recall update. If not it will kick up errors for the techs.

This statement is so true. I see it all the time with oil changes. It costs $70 in materials and they don’t want to do it until 10K miles. ?

yeah I hate those people to but this isn’t the same and I’m not like that. I know bimmercode is an option and money isn’t an issue, that wasn’t my question. If you can save $90, why not?

The ASD module does not have a dedicated fuse....It's fused source is shared with other components...
