I've read through this thread, maybe I'm missing it. I have an old Sparco seat I'm using for the moment. It's side mount, I assume they all are. I have a buddy club sliding rail in my old car attached to it. I need something obviously different for the Supra.
So what kind of option do I have for a sliding rail on a side mount seat?
I'm 5'6, so definitely I'm not into mounts that basically put the seat on the floor.
Yes, I am aware of safety hazards using sliders with harnesses.

I am also 5'6" and have an OMP WRC-R bolted to the floor. It's low but I'm using one of these https://racetech-usa.com/shop/seats/cushions/booster-cushion. Fits right in.

Here is my current setup. Took a bit of exploration of different parts to get it just right for me.

Seat:
Sparco Evo QRT

Side mounts:
Brey-Krause R-9261

Floor mounts:
Macht Schnell liteweight floor mounts 70.10.111
note: I only used these to raise the seat up a little as it was too low for me with just the Brey-Krause side mounts.

Harness:
Schroth Profi II ASM + Six point add-on
Brey Krause R-9259 sub mount add-on for seat side mounts (allows six point addition)

OEM seat belt add-on:
Seat Belt Extender Pros
This allows the right side of the OEM seat belt to be safely used through the side of the seat instead of over (when driving on the street)

Recaro Pole Position ABE Fit I have them in mine. the bride seat rails didnt work with the Recaro PP ABE I tried them so i had StreetFaction Engineering make a set for me. here's a video with the seats and brackets i used. quality product!

It looks like the OMP XL would be a good fit for my body (over 6'/225/wide shoulders). Anyone here using one? Does anyone know if it will fit in our cars?

Hey Guys,

I'm trying to find anywhere if someone managed to fit ANY of the OMP seats in the Supra, aside from the HTE/HRC models.

Did anyone end up with OMP seats as I'm about to pull the trigger on WRC-R but they are like 620 mm width and I don't really see how this thing will fit unless it ends up like 1-2 mm off the door?

I’ve heard of height issues on a BMW chat. For taller peeps, it actually being higher than the OEM seat ?

my current seat height is lower than factory and i have room to drop the seat lower if i wanted.

Just wanted to add a bit of clarity to the thread in case someone is looking for seats.

As long as you unplug the battery before install and re-connect the seat belt receptical to the OEM harness under the seat (white male connector that connects to the farther black female connector) you will still retain all functions including cruise control.

HOWEVER, you will have a persistent error for the driver's harness. It's annoying but at least it doesn't impede other functions.

See the rest of the thread for coding that out. I know there has been an update to the bimmergeeks protool app so the current process may or may not work.

I also recommend the Macht Schnell mount + rails! Overall it fit pretty well, instructions could be a bit more precise but not bar all things considered.
