Agreed Value Insurance Policies

Any of you have agreed value policies on your Supra?

I’ve never had a car where I’ve poured enough money into the car in mods until now and I realized quickly just how fucked we can be if our modified Supras get wrecked since the insurance companies and normal policies only pay out the market value of a comparable year/mileage stock version of the car.

Please chime in if you have a policy you’re happy with that covers your agreed value of your car!

This is something a lot of people overlook. I personally found the better approach is to simply just add extra coverage on for aftermarket parts in a set dollar value.

Insurance isn't a cover-all. It's mostly a bandaid if something bad happens.

I have an agreed value policy through grundy, they were cheapest for me, hope to never have to see if they pay out.

Im with Hagerty, they were the only ones who would get even close to the value I wanted.

Is your Supra track only or do you daily drive it/run errands?

I applied for Grundy and entered <5k miles per year, but the app auto generated <2500 miles per year. The broker said they don't track mileage, but not sure a claim would be denied if something were to happen. Also, I had selected 500 for liability, but the app auto generated 100k. Wondering if that was your experience
