You nailed it. The first time, it was, what the hell! I had to keep a light control on the wheel and just lightly respond but I am surprised, with everything involved and what this vehicle is, that this would not be more solid. It isn't a 60's Corvair after all.

It gave me a bit of a fright one day with traction control off in a really good low speed dig it took off sideways mid way through 3rd when it started boosting hard

Camber & dust on the road wouldn't have helped,

I thought to myself leave traction on (not as much fun),

This is maybe one reason why you see all those wrecked ones ???

That is a good point, and something Toyota needs to confront with a recall.

You were one of the lucky ones and survived. All the others are dead.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's limited with the stock suspension. I wish it was double wishbone like the MKIV but it is what it is. I think aftermarket front and rear suspension would be the best remedy.

If this was a serious review, this is the worst one I've seen.

This seasoned auto mechanic said the reason for the HP difference between the MKV and the Z4, is because the Z4 has two turbochargers???

Then eventually follows up and says the 2021 Supra will get the twin turbos as well??? Do ppl really take this guy seriously?

Scotty mostly does videos about general topics and also Q&As that typically focus on saving money over time.

Even in this video, he makes sure to talk about how since it's a BMW, you have to pay more for maintenance etc. I like to watch his videos to learn about various things, but he tends to make a lot of mistakes with some of the info, like saying the B58 in the Z4 is twin-turbo.

If you have no interest in cars whatsoever, and are only concerned about spending as little money as possible, then he's your guy. I'm just glad he's reasonable enough to enjoy the car despite the gripes he has with it
