Here is the background:
5th July
I got below parts installed on the car:
rear traction links
rear toe links
rear upper arms
Perfect fitting, everything went smooth.
Car's alignment got screwed, which was expected.
10th July
took the car for the wheel alignment. post alignment, as soon as I reversed the car from the ramp, the rear left wheel starts scrubbing the body.
this has never happened before. even with the car being lowered on H&R springs, i have never had tyre scrubbing the body.
visually, I see the space between the rear left wheel and the body is different to the rear right wheel. see the picture below.
gap at point A (between tyre thread and body arch), gap at point B (between tyre thread and body arch) and gap at point C (between tyre thread and body arch) is not same as rear right wheel.
it looks like the car's tyre is moved out of its original position.
the car is giving me two errors. i cant recall the error messages on the computer...one error says something about "axle" and the second error had something to say "rear differential lock "and asking to take the car to the dealership.
What went wrong with my car?
Its a 2023 Toyota Supra 3.0 MT.
PS. I left my car at the workshop and I dont have a picture of the rear wheel, so I have used random picture to explain the gaps.
