Bit the bullet and gave the JB+ a chance. Just installed it on my lunch break and tested it out a bit on my way back to work.

Car definitely pulls harder. Noticeable on the butt dyno for sure. I did notice on the few pulls I did though that the shifts were not as fast as they normally are. Assuming the car needs a little time to adjust?

Going to give it a few days and see how it goes.
Yeah takes a few drives for it to adjust I reckon. Are you on 3pm default dial?

Enjoy!

Yeah I have it at 3pm. I cracked it open right before I installed it to check where the dial was(assuming it was going to be at 3pm) , and oddly enough it came from them at 4pm

Am really thinking about buying this. Going to get my AA Catted DP installed soon, I should have no issue having this installed after that’s put in correct? And even if I unplug this when I take it to go get serviced at my local dealership, will they know I’ve had this installed or not?

I know a guy that knows a guy that has a dog that owns Supra that had the JB+ on their car when they went in for some warranty service on a CEL and evap issue. There was no issue or questions raised. However, if they want, they can tell if there was an over-boost situation. If the car pulled more boost than stock levels. This could be argued. Maybe certain "environmental factors" lead to the car requesting more boost. Shouldn't have any issues.

Unlikely, JB+ only transmits boost values to the DME that are within its acceptable limits. So its not detectable when removed. Only hint may be that fuel trims are higher, but that's not enough evidence to deny a warranty.

So I installed the JB+ a few days back and by butt dyno does not feel any difference.

Have driven around 100kms, does it need more time to take full effect? It is dialed at the 3pm default position. Should I crank it up all the way?

Thinking of doing 200 cell downpipe next. Would that help that JB+ achieve better results?

Dude, exact same experience over here. Installed last week, not feeling really anything different either, and I’ve driven a lot since then. Dial is on default 3pm as well. Not sure if it’d be wise to turn it up or not for me, highest octane gas I have access to is 91. That also might be a reason why I’m not feeling really anything. I do have an AA Catted DP installed though.

Thanks for sharing your experience. We have 98RON here which is equivalent to 93AKI (USA).

I think the difference between 3pm and 5pm is like 1/2 psi of boost.

Did you feel any difference after installing the AA DP?

Put some ethanol in (2-3 gallons)

I did for sure feel a slight difference after installing the downpipe.

That's strange you two didn't feel the difference (might have to do with gas) especially if only 91 available.

Butt dyno for me was immediate on 3pm default dial.

Only situation that there wouldn't be gains from JB+ is if the fuel is garbage
