Does sport plus make any difference at all? Haven't really seen anything that indicates there's more performance with it, but I'd be interested if its a throttle response thing.

sounds amazing, has this very aggressive Brapp/ chainsaw rip like the m cars with dct's do, especially on the auto, my manual does it even a little, but yes definitely more aggressive throttle mapping and when you let off you can really feel it, kind of hard to explain but almost like you can feel the fuel cut very aggressively the second you let off ( prob where you get that brapp sound from. definitely do it, literally was like a different car.

Surprised the CG Precision DS-1 hasn't been mentioned. That's what I landed on.

I also have this downpipe. Car still made 500whp on E50 with stock turbo and stock fuel system. The sound is deep and sounds great. Never a check engine light.

Even on sale the AA is still 300 more than the CG. The CG is larger, likely flows more, no CEL, and from my perspective is a better designed DP that includes the transmission bracket.

But CG does not come with any guarantee.

If the CEL is triggered, CG won't replace it for free.

I’m aware of the no guarantee. Worth it to me and many others that run this with no CEL.
The AA guarantee doesn’t alone make it the best catted DP, no way. If that’s the only requirement, of course everyone will jump on AA bandwagon.
Like I said, side by side, the CG to me is the clear winner and a better engineered DP.

All high flows have a little smell from time to time. Nothing compared to catless smell by any means.
