Is it necessary to do a tune if I want to run a catted DP only?

I know that on other cars I've owned there was concern about running lean due to exhaust upgrades on stock ecu's
If you run the Active Autowerkes downpipe you will not get a CEL so no need for a tune, but tune will result in the most power out of the downpipe.

Not necessary to run a tune with the active downpipe. No CEL either way and car runs exactly like stock except the better sound and performance

Definitely keep us posted. That’s $400 or so less than any other catted downpipe I think.
Frequency Intelligent catted DP, which is what I have is pretty close to that pricing. I would definitely check out that as an option as well. Solid quality and no issues, plus it sounds amazing!

Is there any downpipe comparison table or chart?

I think this topic should be changed to Cheapest Catted Downpipe. Everyone seems to be hung up on price. The "best" one, in my mind, is the one that flows the most and hence costs the least power.

its a balance between, flow, power, fitment, reliability, and no CEL

Active Autowerke have updated their downpipe to now use the latest GESI cats for better CEL guarantee and more air flow than the previous version
