Halim is a PTF employee; that's been confirmed a few times on the forums.this isnt entirely accurate. BM3 tunes are made by Halim last i checked, Halim iirc is HCP performance which is a third party tuner/shop. Who just happens to partner with BM3/Protuning freaks.
Also, Dzenno, the owner of PTF, is one of the most influential BMW tuners ever. People from the BMW N54 days know him well for his custom Cobb maps. He is a significant figure in BMW and now Supra tuning.
I'm trying to convey that PTF is a complete tuning company with tuners, software engineers, dynos, and in-house production of all additional hardware.
On the other hand, MHD develops software but relies on third parties for everything else, including maps, dynos, and hardware.
These two companies might offer similar products, but their approach is entirely different. I prefer PTF for the reasons mentioned, but you and everyone else are entitled to your opinion.
