I’ve had my 23 MT since last July and have been waiting for REV2 ever since. I reached out to BM3 at the time, and they said it would be released shortly. That took almost a year.

I am not comparing it to MHD, as I never had it, and I will get BM3 soon, it's just that the whole thing is so messy.

I’ve had my 23 MT since April 2023 and have done atleast 450 degenerate activities with MHD+ while you’ve been sitting on that fence waiting for a tool that may or may not have an advantage over the competition north of 1400+ whp

You are wrong. Ecutek, MHD, BM3, MG all flash the DME to tune. With MHD and BM3 you get real-time tuning so you can tune in real time, HOWEVER, you need to finalize by flashing the DME in the end.

I think you didn't understand what I was talking about.

In the EcuTek app, you can adjust a lot of things without flashing the DME. After you get the tune...

Can you do that with BM3 or MHD? Do they have an app that does similar things?

Also, can you change the maps without flashing the DME?

I was expecting that level of control from BM3 Rev2

If you already have bm3 it will be much cheaper to upgrade to customrom v2, with shipping I believe it will be around 500ish.

Are you talking about hot boi pops and bangs? who the f cares. That's not tuning, but yes you can change that in the mobile app in BM3, MHD and MG.

Ethanol you can see on the dash as well.

Also, can you change the maps without flashing the DME?
Yes.

I suggest you read up a bit more about the tuning platforms. Happy to answer more questions though.

I care about switching maps without flashing the DME all the time. Sometimes, I am driving and want to switch to a race map. I don't want to pull over and spend 10 minutes flashing my DME to just switch to a race map.

I literally just told you that you can switch maps on the fly without flashing. I have even done it mid lap on the track.

Why ask questions if you aren't reading the answers?

Also, flashing doesn't take 10 mins.

I was saying that's what I care about, not the extra stuff you can control.
I read your answer.

I went with the Omega 65 and I’m really happy with it. It’s been very reliable as well.

If you care about hot boi pops and bangs then why are you even looking at Rev2?

Never mind, forget I asked.

EcuTek gave me the ability to adjust gear stiffness, accelerator sensitivity, and other key settings. I could easily switch between maps, like from a 93 octane city map to an E85 race map.

It also allowed me to create custom dashboards to monitor engine temps. Since my car didn’t have an oil temperature gauge, it was super useful—especially living in the South where the summer heat can be brutal.

You're cleary happy with ECUTek, and it's an excellent option, I don't think anyone is denying that. you're not the target audience for the PTF kit since you already have a setup that works for you.

But, if you're going to comment on the PTF kit, I suggest doing a bit more research first, because it seems you're missing some basic details about what it actually offers.
