We need to send our DME, which costs $1500, and then buy a kit priced at over $1800. We’ll also need to purchase a BM3 license, which will cost $600.

On top of all that, it's not plug-and-play.

Uhhh...

You need to send to Femto 21+ with any tuning platform
Reflex plug and play kit costs $1400
MHD+ license costs $560

Please compare apples to apples. Don't cherrypick.

I’ve had my 23 MT since last July and have been waiting for REV2 ever since. I reached out to BM3 at the time, and they said it would be released shortly. That took almost a year.

I am not comparing it to MHD, as I never had it, and I will get BM3 soon, it's just that the whole thing is so messy.

Last July? woooow that's such a long time. Almost a year? oh my gosh.

I could wait another year; It's just that they kept saying it would be out in two weeks for a whole year.
Just give us a time frame or say we don't know instead of saying "soon, shortly, two weeks."

I mean, when you complained about this, what were you expecting? Anyone who was waiting for this kit already knew these things

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you have to flash the DME every time you make a change, unlike with Ecutek, where you can adjust things without needing to flash the DME. On my previous platform, I used to change maps, adjust variables within the maps, modify accelerator sensitivity, and more.

Oh trust me, I have been waiting for Rev2 as well. One thing to note is that CustomRom2 is going to have a ton of upgrades that will meet and in some ways, surpass MHD+, and you DO NOT need the Rev2 hardware for it.

My point in comparing is that the setup isn't much different price wise to MHD offerings.

You are wrong. Ecutek, MHD, BM3, MG all flash the DME to tune. With MHD and BM3 you get real-time tuning so you can tune in real time, HOWEVER, you need to finalize by flashing the DME in the end.

Oh, so you can still get CustomRom2 without having to buy the kit if you do not need it. basically, in the future, if I want to add the kit, I can do that, but for the time being, I can run it just as CustomRom1.

I thought EcuTek allowed you to adjust everything without flashing the DME every time you make a small change.

You don't have to be nice on here just because you're on the bm3 watchlist.
