It's coming out tomorrow and since we waited so long, they are giving away five free oil changes and a year subscription to the Ukrainian Kyiv Post.
Haha. This is my first go round on these. If I keep doing bigger upgrades Is the MHD as capable as the Bootmod3?

Depends on your tuner. Bootmod3 has thousands more tables defined by default. MHD has 1/4, if not less, by default. Good tuners on MHD have custom definitions from a A2L they found on the dark web or paying shady russians, both giving them many more tables than the default.

For port injection, MHD and Ecutek have the advantage currently as they integrate with Reflex port. Bootmod3 Rev2 will have that and more if it ever comes out in the next twenty years.

If Bm3 didn't have a lot of tables that I use that standard MHD XDF's do not, I would have been on MHD at least a year ago.

BM3's mobile app datalogging is THE WORST.

In my career, If my team released a mobile app like that, and also broke things with almost every release, I would be fired.

Trying to connect to the app via the wifi module makes me want to die. I can't remember the last time the autologging feature worked. I regret my life decisions.

I got sick of it be flakey as all F and now use a hardline connection via ENET cable and adapter.
Today’s app update brought a firmware update that’s supposed to help with this. Haven’t tried it myself yet.

I tried 2 different ENET MFI certified cables but could not connect. Is there a process to using the cable.

Make sure your device is not connected to WiFi/CarPlay/Bluetooth and hop into Settings/Ethernet and wait for the IP to populate. Once you see it populate, you’re good to go. If it doesn’t, disconnect the negative terminal on your battery for 5-10 minutes to reset the vehicle’s network.

Appreciate it. Going to give it a try tomorrow.

I still have connectivity issues with the hard line, but it's still about 80% better than that pos Wifi connection.
FWIW, the only adapter that’s never given me a single issue is the MHD Universal one. Manually set your IP to 192.168.4.2 (Lowest assignable IP, 4.1 is reserved for the configuration panel.) and your Subnet Mask to 255.255.255.0 and it’ll connect instantly every time without issue.

This new update for the bootmod3 adapter seems promising so far. I updated it (You have to manually do it from within the app. It won’t prompt you to update. It’ll be the one at the top of the list.), deleted the network from my phone entirely, disconnected the adapter and reset the car’s network, plugged it back in and connected, and it assigned an IP right away without any configuration on my end. Instantly recognized by both the bootmod3 and xHP apps.
