Other things to watch. The left rear pads are where the traction and stability control modulate and if you do not turn off(completely by holding down button until vsa off light on dash comes up) It will wear out the pads faster on that side. Especially the inside one which is harder to see. Rear pad choices have been harder to find. Z26 power stops are not a bad option for rears until you get into a full track pad. Then hawk has some options but they make a lot of noise and dust for a daily driver. I smoked a set of street pads in one 3 day weekend on the left rear.

Great info, thanks! I'm running Endless MX72 pads all around which so far seem to be a good balance of track and street. I'm surprised at how little they dust and I had zero brake issues throughout all of my sessions. They did groove the front rotors a bit but after some regular street driving they're cleaning up a bit. Curious to see how long they're last. I don't have anything else to compare them to at this point.

Thanks for input on motul. I have not tried endless or SRF which others rave about). I was just too cheap as with the price difference can change a lot more. So all fair points and will check them out a bit more.

I did not activate ABS with any software. SRF fluid and CSG pads, both sensors are zip tied off out of the way. I've bled the fluid once so far this season and that was in February at COTA. Everything is still working very well. Bolts I reused but keep some spares in case. Car is tracked at least once a month for TT with SCCA, more depending if I make it out to a lapping day or attending another event (GL, GTA) I check fluid levels and all the fasteners for suspension and brakes between each event.

Silly question guys, I have the Motive bleeder, I just bought a new one to replace my well worn one. I’m getting ready to do my first flush on this car and was wondering how much fluid you’re using to flush with the Motive bleeder? I just want to order enough without over ordering. TIA

I would suggest 2 500 Ml bottles. If you are trying to do a complete flush.

1 QT. or 1 liter would be just about enough. I had to use 1.5 liters due to some issue I had...
