Popped into the dealer and finally saw the car in person. It's alot nicer in person than on the photos.

How was the quality of paint? Any orange peel?

You know what I did see some small Mark's on the front and it was yellowish color.

The Z4 paint is outstanding, very little orange peel, by far the best paint of any BMW. I went to BMW to see one. Also, in a coparison test between the Z4 and Porche, the Z4 got a 9 for fit and finish, while the Porche recieved 8. I assume the Supra will be the same since they are made at the same factory.

Not really unexpected but no test drive. I drive an Evo X and I'm not dropping what I have (in terms of raw driving experience) for really anything else without driving it first.

Man, that sucks. I have a feeling many of us are going to have stories about being screwed over, like dealers asking more than they initially promised upon downpayment, ect.

That's Bullshit! You should tell your dealer that you will call Toyota Head office and complain that you were told you were number one
on the list and now they pulled this on you.
Some salesmen have no class .

Their story could be true though, as I put my deposit down in November, 2018, months before the debut, and I was second on the list at this particular Edmonton dealer. I know the guy who was first. Did they tell you that you were first on the list?

Yup. The dealership owner was the second. And I was apparently the first “legit” order in Toyota’s system for Alberta

So if anyone has a lead on a downshift blue car send them my way haha

You probably read in the other thread that my dealer said that they have no idea and that they're hoping for the (3rd) shipment before xmas but really just don't have a clue.

Tough break on the car man. We're both sitting next in line heh.

My dealer told me the same no idea. Either I take the black they had coming in or wait till next year.
