*You're. I do not own New York, nor is it a part of me.

If me living in New York starts your blood boiling, this next fact will probably blow your top off. I lived in California for 35 years before I moved to New York.

I believe you would call it Commifornia.

Yeah it’s going to show the updated part number because that’s the only one you can order now. Being a 2020 you most definitely have the outdated oil pump
I would agree with that assumption.
I just went through every recorded TAS case in the country to see when people are having these jobs done through dealerships, and the newest build date I have found is 11/2020. I did not see a single 2022 MY car.
Please, PLEASE message me or respond to this post if you have a later one than this, but from my research this MAY be the cutoff for when these pumps were used on our cars. (for Toyotas, not BMWs, which seem to have the updated part over a year earlier) My car is a 2021, build date 07/2020, but the manufacture date of my pump was 03/2019.
I did see several tuned cars that had their pumps replaced by the dealership -- all were customer pay. One of my personal favorite technician notes was, "Customer believes the issue is the oil pump based on Supra forum posts" 😆 phenomenal!!

I think I may make a separate thread on this eventually to stop hijacking other people's posts, get more eyes on the issue, and collect more data, but that's my current conclusion as of now!
