Just happened to me, unfortunately, for a 4-digit order. This is a great thread idea, these guys are the worst and I've pretty much stopped accepting credit cards from NY clients unless we've worked together in the past. This stuff hearts small business owners.

They might not even own a supra. They might scam any business and sell the products for pure profit.

They must go through a lot of banks or their bank is apart of the scam. Just horrible any way you look at it. I feel bad for all business owners that have to deal with this crap.

I know, I have lots of great NY customers but when I get the random no or low followers account on ig or facebook asking for high dollar popular parts and then offering to pay with a card, well you know. There is a big one called F80lay on IG, he scammed a lot of tuners and vendors on here for full motors/ turbo kits. He is still very active. Constantly tries to get me to buy cats from him.

Good point, but if that happened and the asswipes never responded, something has to be done. Especially the one @NitroYellowMKV is speaking of. Clearly more than once and known by others. It’s just so wrong man, in so many ways….

Defamation cases are very hard to prove. Putting their names out there for scamming you and them being able to actually prove, without a doubt, that by doing that you actually harmed them is very slim if at all.

Edit: And that’s assuming they are actually dumb enough to be using their real name/address.
