Cover for the cupholders?

most of the time i don't use the cupholders. is there anything to buy that can cover both cupholders at once? Possibly a template to 3D print these?

i bought small containers with lids and put them inside, but i don't like it that much because the gap between the two cupholders is still open.

i bought the original toyota ashtray. it is available from toyota as an option. it fits very snugly into the cup holder and covers relatively flush. unfortunately i don't have a part number for you, but i do have a picture.

I put tons of crap in there! iPhone magnet wallet thing, gate remote, gym key fob, just crap I want to grab when I climb in/out. Is there a better place to put this junk? I really don't want to reach all the way over to the tiny glovebox... I guess that's an option lol

I put my stuff right behind the cupholders. And if im out of space, thats my sign to stop putting stuff i dont need in there.

I'm interested, but it looks difficult to take out. How is the removal for when I need a place to put my coffee?

edit: Fuck it, I went ahead and bought it. Push comes to shove, I can attach a tab to lift it out with.

Yeah I saw that. I thought about trying to buy from Toyota, but I figured I'd give the ones in this thread a try since it extends to the bottom like little cups. Seems like it would be able to handle more weight than the leather covers.

I could be wrong, but I feel like my elbows would eventually cause the leather covers to bend and fall in.

I bought them and I'm quite happy. Easy to pop in, and pop back out when I need to put a coffee there.

The fact that it's not 100% form fitted, makes it easier to remove. If there was no space to the sides, you'd have a tough time getting it out I think.
