I am surprised why CSF did not take full advantage of the height available. I do know that their heat exchanger is thicker and made with their patented (B-Tube) technology. Wouldn't it possibly perform even better if they have utilized the whole height available, since the OEM is taller in height as seen above in the comparison video.

Just my 2 cent.

Honestly the top half of the cooling package receives less direct flow than the bottom half. I know air swirls passing the bumper. But i have some front air dam diffusers to send more direct airflow to the top half.

Very cool. This and a charge pipe are the next two mod's on my list!

I wondered about the height as well, but I posted this comparison pic and someone commented just how much more beat up the bottom 1/3 was. It definitely does the most work getting airflow (and debris). But at the end of the day, I don't know how the extra height could hurt, other than slightly more difficulty bleeding the system.

Would love to see the difference in temperature under load as well to compare stock vs csf :)
You are in the right country for that. Heat and humidity :)

When you do your test/review, keep in mind that actual temps are lower than what is shown in the secret menu or EcuTek gauges.

Darth, lower by how much?
I don't know by how much. I asked AMS, as they did separate tests with external sensors, but they didn't share these numbers.

Wouldn't that sound a little bit odd?
I mean: a sensor should be a sensor :)

The point where it is measured can be different, but I assume that a sensor on a car... is at the correct place to make sure the engine is not overheating.

Curious about the reply. As the ECU will take into account the car sensors.

Car at 65C exactly hits a brick wall. So at least in my case its clear as to where the red zone is
