Blue is for the heat exchanger and green is for the radiators.. it should be obvious which one goes where when you pull off the fill caps.
Removing OEM heat exchanger, fluid drained was green.

I added new green HT12 taken from the dealership.. To my knowledge it only uses one type of coolant and not two

I have found two totally different part numbers that bmw use for their coolant . One is a green fluid (ht12) with part number 83192468442 and the other one is blue with part number 82142209769 .

so which one should be used for the Supra ?

It uses both man. So you can determine what is leaking by color

Green for engine coolant
Blue for intercooler/heat exchanger

It's probably the exact same fluid just different color for determining leaks is my guess

How does it use two?

This is my car with green draining the old radiator

Car uses one type only

Based on what I read this seems to not be worth it then correct? Unless someone else can show me some logs of IATs dropping significantly wile Dig racing. For rolls i think it may help a little if you cruise around for a bit between pulls (which is normally the case).

Yes, no IAT drop comparing log to log, however; Car cools down much faster and is due to that less likely to heat soak

I only noticed run IAT drop when I did:
CSF heat exchanger + Koyorad radiators + Water methanol injection

I seem to be having a hard time finding any dealer that carries the FROSTOX HT-12 the part number doesn't seem to be coming up. Does anyone know if the BMW one is pretty much the same or what I should get? Additionally does it need a 50/50 mixture? Lastly for the bleeding of the system I saw this in another thread. Not sure if anyone has done it and can confirm its accurate. I've done other BMWs before and it didn't require the engine to be started just the pressing of the pedal to initiate the process:

open bleeder on overflow
fill overflow to top
close bleeder and replace overflow cap
close hood, make sure car is on ground (not on lift or jacks), apply parking brake
put car in diag mode (ht start button 3 times)
turn on low beam lights, and hazard lights
put heater control on max hot, blower on lowest
hold gas pedal down for 10 seconds (dont step on brake)
release gas pedal and start engine
instrument cluster displays message about service function starting
engine will rev up on its own for 11 minutes then return to idle
let engine cool all the way back off and check overflow tank

Would love everyone's thoughts.

Just use the BMW Green HT12 coolant..

And the bleeding procedure is correct
