Do not let the dealership update your DCM module it will brake other software throughout your car. Contact me trying to get a class action lawsuit against Toyota USA.
I just had my Supra A91 CF in for safety inspection and other work. I think the DCM module was "UPDATED". Now I am having problems when making turns with what seems to be breaking during the turning process while my foot is on the gas pedal. Changing lanes also seems to have changed a lot again with what seems to be the lane change setting. Not sure if using the turn signal that would help. I do live in VB and had the "Chesapeake" dealer do my service.
I would like to talk with you about this problem.

If you haven't already, just double check to see if lane assist setting was changed after updating the radio which was a step that sounds like it needed to be done prior to the recall for the DCM.

That setting may have defaulted back to on and could be causing issues when you're changing lanes without using a blinker etc.

Had the DCM update at dealer. It did reset the Bimmercode options to default and I had to reprogram them. It also changed how the "do not stop engine when stopping" in normal mode works. So now this Bimmercode option can not be used. Bimmercode is working on a fix.

Very interesting turn of events, Toyota has determined that my radio unit is at fault and are replacing it at no charge. They are still looking into the TPMS software issue, will keep you all up to date.

So it wasn’t the software? Weird

Bryan, I know you are jealous of me, and that is sad that you have to conspire to say that I use illegal drugs. You just don't understand true energy when you see it.
Why do you think Bryan cares what you think? Respectfully, you need help.

So, after all your hostility, Toyota listened and is working to solve your problem? That's so crazy. It would help if you sued them.

same thing happened to this guy. software can ruin hardware. an example/experience i can share is how Bose QuietComfort II headphones were getting ruined by the latest update. for the TPMS, they could've damaged the sensors while installing your tires and don't want to own up to it
