It's not at all unprecedented for 2022s to be available for order or even on dealer lots before the website configurator is updated. Manufacturers update the dealer ordering system first and then eventually get around to the public-facing website. Since they have to update the website configurator for every model and trim (and associated options), I'd wager Toyota prioritized the highest volume vehicles first...How are dealers getting 2022s? It isn’t even on the Toyota website configurator.
