Did you check your ECU date yet? Some of the 21 A91's were tunable.

Yea. Unfortunately I have a 6/6 date. I think all refraction’s have the same date unfortunately

I haven't heard anyone working on it. Market seems to tolerate shipping to Finland. That company seems to have done a non-trivial thing. So I wouldn't be optimistic that someone invests to recreate it and compete.

At this point just pull the trigger. It really isn't that bad of a process provided it isn't your only car.

My Refraction Blue has a tunable ECU (5/20) though it is one of the small handful with an earlier ECU.

Shipping thru euro proformamce was so simple and got it back quick, and my God what a difference between stock and a stage 2 tune and a downpipe. You have waited wayyyyy to long and you'll regret it not getting it done sooner.

Tuning is simple for this car, well, unlocking. The tuning is actually really complicated.

Take the ECU you, mail it to Femto, tunable upon return.

If you are worried, I would just use one of the reputable Supra shops that specialize in the car who are all over YouTube. It may cost a little more, but I’m sure you will not regret it at all. I just got my car this year and am waiting a little longer to make sure I don’t have any warranty issues first, but in 2 years, that is what I am doing. Good luck and looking forward to hear how much fun you are having after it is done. Buy once cry once.

You forgot about the part where you didnt realize 2 of 6 connectors werent really seated, tried to start the car and got a million errors, panicked, texted Zack, and he told you to check the connectors, which were in fact loose. THEN you start it and go for a drive.
