Ecutek install error

Has anyone run into this error before when installing ecutek and found a solution to it? I have been emailing ecutek for days and they are still unable to figure out how to fix it. Any tips would be appreciated.

See if there is more error details in the Event Viewer. It might list the actual .DLL or .OCX file that it is having difficulty with. Start/Event Viewer/Windows Logs/Application then search for the Error.

Typical windows development bullshit. I'd make sure you have all of the latest updates done from MS, latest version of windows, etc.

I tried this. But it's not showing any new events under application when I open the program and get the error message.

Windows is completely up to date. Even installed all the optional firmware updates/bios updates to make sure. I also tried turning off windows firewall and virus protection as well.

Dumb question but have you tried installing with both your key and dongle connected?

Yes, both are connected. I am pretty sure it's a driver issue. But I can't find a way to manually force the drivers to reinstall. It's skipping over it if I just delete the ecutek folder and install again.

Ecutek couldn't figure it out. Ended up using someone else's laptop to flash and then bought the phoneflash from the tuner so I don't need a laptop
