Funny how sport is more civilized too shifting at lower rpms than stock too.. Its perfect nowExactly! Hate the vibrations and how the car rattles after shifting into 7th or 8th gear. I just keep it in sport mode now
What vibrations and rattles are you speaking of when shifting into top gear? That doesn't sound normal to me. Mine does not do that at all.Exactly! Hate the vibrations and how the car rattles after shifting into 7th or 8th gear. I just keep it in sport mode now
Happens with my BM3 tune, a friend whos tuned through Autotuner too
Looks like most tuning platforms are affected by this.. Very weird since TCU is left untouched
i hate the logic, ill be doing 40 in 8th gear. I could care less about mpg in anyway, shape, form or fashion, if they could make a happy medium between sport and comfort, I think most would appreciate that
why not ask you tuner to fix it if you don't like it?Exactly! Hate the vibrations and how the car rattles after shifting into 7th or 8th gear. I just keep it in sport mode now
they are probably talking about the lugging vibration you get when in a high gear at low engine speed. not necessarily a "vibration" but more like a "shuddering" felt through the car. if you ever drove a manual car and you forgot to clutch in coming to a stop. think about that feeling just slightly less pronounced. What vibrations and rattles are you speaking of when shifting into top gear? Interesting, I know that feeling from driving manual, but I still don't really feel such an intense shuddering in 7th/8th gear. Unless they are putting on a bunch of load at a very low RPM in that gear?they are probably talking about the lugging vibration you get when in a high gear at low engine speed. not necessarily a "vibration" but more like a "shuddering" felt through the car. if you ever drove a manual car and you forgot to clutch in coming to a stop. think about that feeling just slightly less pronounced.
It only happens in auto on normal/comfort mode. (light load)What vibrations and rattles are you speaking of when shifting into top gear? That doesn't sound normal to me. Mine does not do that at all.
Still figuring it out. Nothing worked so far.why not ask you tuner to fix it if you don't like it?
Okay that is strange, I can def hear a vibration at the end in 8th gear, but I don't have that problem in mine. I wonder if the trans mounts are vibrating hard to cause that or something between the chassis and interior? It only happens in auto on normal/comfort mode. (light load)
Is your car tuned? If yes on what platform?Okay that is strange, I can def hear a vibration at the end in 8th gear, but I don't have that problem in mine. I wonder if the trans mounts are vibrating hard to cause that or something between the chassis and interior?
I have other rattles in the car in my gauge cluster, but that's about it.
My car is not tuned, but has a turbo-back and intake. Is your car tuned? If yes on what platform?
That is why you don't have it. My car was running fine with catless down pipe before I tuned it. Its not a deal breaker and will be resolved eventually I am sure.My car is not tuned, but has a turbo-back and intake.
Looking into the ECUTEK.
Ahh gotcha...Do you think it's just the catless downpipe vibrating like crazy and not the tune? That is why you don't have it. My car was running fine with catless down pipe before I tuned it.
