I finally had some spare time after working all summer, so I went for a weekend trip with the Supra.
The trip went to Telemark here in Norway. An area known for its winding roads, beautiful fjords and lush landscape.

We visited places like Rjukan, famous for the heavy water sabotage raid during WWII to prevent nazi-germany producing nuclear weapons.
Some of you might know this location from the video game, Battlefield V, story mode, episode 4 or from the movie "The Heros of Telemark" 1965 movie staring Kirk Douglas and Richard Harris.

We also visited Dalen Hotel, that has been in business since 1894.
A place well know amongst aristocrats and the rich & famous in the early 20th century.

Random locations:

700 miles in total, over the span of 3 days. I wish I had the time to stop for more photos, but I was simply to busy enjoying the ride.

The season started early this year, I pulled the car out of winter storage about 6 weeks ago, usually we have snow until the end of April.

Been to several C&C's already, and have just been enjoying driving the car.

Some more parts have been fitted.
Verus Engineering caps, heat shield and a titanium charge pipe that I found on Alibaba.
And in about 5-6 weeks, I should have a package incoming from RHDJapan. It will be a surprise for now

Got a good deal on a Do88 manifold almost a year ago, but I have still not been able to get it installed. Work and other projects gets in the way. Might as well pay someone to install it, but problem is I don't trust other people touching my car...

More parts fitted:

Max Orido front lip and rear spoiler, Verus diffuser and Cusco tow hooks

The diffuser needed some slight modification to fit together with the Milltek exhaust, as the pipes sit closer together than on the OEM exhaust.
For the brackets that are supposed to go over the exhaust pipes, I’ll be 3D designing and water-jet cutting some new brackets in order to complete the installation.

I'm hoping to get it ready for an upcoming track day in August, so next on the list is upgrading the brake pads and fluid. I was thinking of trying EBC Bluestuff, as they’re the only ones I can source locally.

It’ll be my first track day with the Supra. I’ve done some previous track driving with my 240SX, so I’m not completely unfamiliar with driving on track.
It’ll mostly be a test day to see what suspension upgrades might be needed.

The first design for the new bracket is ready. A prototype has been 3D printed for testing.

The first design did fit, but it didn’t allow for any adjustment, so I redesigned it to be 19 mm (3/4") taller."

It’s been a slow season, I’ve barely touched the E85 drum. The track day I had planned was postponed due to heavy rainfall, I’ll give it another try on September 13th but the weather forecast does not look promising...

Other news, I’m working on building a new garage. The one I’m using now was built by the previous homeowner back in the early ’90s and is more of a "storage shed" than a garage. The new garage will be about 100 sq. ft. larger than the old one, around 500 sq. ft. in total, fully insulated, and equipped with an in-floor scissor lift.

Being able to work in a heated garage during the winter season will make it so much easier to maintain and upgrade both of my projects.

Have not spent much on parts this year so far, just an oil change, brake pads/fluid and an Eibach swaybar.
Do have some plans for a long roadtrip this summer with this car, but more about that later.

I went with Endless MX72 Plus brake pads and Motul RBF660 fluid.
These pads produce noticeably less brake dust than the OEM pads and pedal modulation feels great from what I've tested them so far.
They do need a little heat to work at their best, but a minute of driving is enough to bring them up to temperature from what I experienced.
I wanted something I could use both on the street and during track days, and these were the pads recommended to me by a guy I know who frequently tracks his Porsche 718.
