Hey everyone, happy to finally have one of these great machines. Picked up my A90 around a week and a half ago and have already made some decent headway, and have fallen absolutely in love with the car.

I found the car listed at a local dealer with some great parts advertised and at a fairly solid price.

TE37's, KW Coilovers, Eventuri Intake, Akrapovic Exhaust, and some more parts they didn't even know about!

First thing was first, I had toget rid of all of the window stickers, and the atrocious 'carbon' vinyl on the hood. This took approximately 4 hours with a heat gun and proper adhesive remover, I don't know who thought it was a good idea to throw that on there, but hopefully they never touch a car again.

While inspecting the car a bit further after the vinyl removal, I reinstalled the removed Eventuri Intake, along with an FTP charge pipe I found laying around our shop. We noticed the car has upgraded sway bars, along with a Verus Engineering turbo heat shield. On the inside of the car, just about every piece that can be had in carbon, is had. The seat inserts, dash vents, center console, stereo surround, etc. Even better, the car came with an AMS Catted downpipe, not installed that's currently waiting to go on.

In the meantime I had ordered an OLM Carbon Fiber wing, and hood vent covers to match the AMS mirror caps & buffeting pieces. once we got these installed we did a minor paint correction on the hood to get rid of the line left from the vinyl that was previously installed. I'll post some of my favorite shots below.

I have a ton more photos that turned out great, but I'll save those for another time.

Me and a few of my local buddies took our rides out and hit a few local canyon & mountain roads over the past week, already with 3 outings, and a few drives I've managed to rack up an additional 1,500 miles on the car. With only 9,500 on the odometer at this point, I've also noticed while driving hard and sometimes in colder weather my brakes tend to squeak, so I have further suspicions about the pads installed on the car. I'll be sure to provide more info on that once I install a set of CSG pads that will help the car perform how I'd like.

Future plans are 'hypothetically' to use an Ecutek kit, once I 'hypothetically' install my AMS catted downpipe to run their level two tune, along with a set of Falken RT660's. If I'm able to squeeze a 295/35 on the rear, along with a 275/35 on the front I think I'll be fairly content for the time being until, my track day next month at Streets of Willow.

Additional minor modifications that I'll be looking to have done by then.

-Endless Brake Fluid
-Stainless Brake Lines
-CSG Brake Pads
-SPL Endlinks
-SPL Front Lower Control Arms
-SPL Rear Traction Links
-Track Spec Alignment

I don't post a ton, but you can also find me on instagram @Throtl_phx if you care to see what I'm up to with the car on a daily basis.

Looking forward to updating you all soon!

I run 295/275, but Iā€™m not lowered. The proper coilovers may give you more clearance, though.

Thereā€™s also some reports on this forum that stock brake pads can squeak a bit. Mine do if itā€™s colder and the brakes donā€™t have heat in them yet, and Iā€™ve noticed mild squeaking when they are warm. Iā€™m chalking it up to ā€œrace car noisesā€ until they need replacing and I have a plan for brake upgrades.

Car looks great. The silver accents on the wheels really set everything off, IMO!

Hmm, interesting. Good to know! In that case I'll likely be picking up a set of CSG track pads as well.

CSG Level 2 loading up tomorrow, after a few more aggressive drives I'm sure I'll be even more sure of what I'd like to upgrade after I get used to the power gains!

What part of SD are you from..? I'm located in South Bay near Naval 32nd street is..

I'm towards North County, I'm sure you'll see the car around if you go to any local meets! I bring it out pretty often.

Picked up some new RT660's for the TE37's in preparation for my track day later this month, along with some Castrol SRF brake fluid. E50 with Visconti flex fuel kit should be installed soon as well!

Unfortunately I went with a 305/30/19 in the rear, and am experiencing light rubbing on bumps and high speed turning, I'm going to experiment with my dampening and potentially raise the rear a hair. Ideally I find a way to make these 305's work as they look absolutely fantastic on this setup.

Worst case scenario someone here gets a great deal on a pair of 305's and I switch to a 295. :(
