Exhausts for the MT

What’s everyone’s experience with exhausts on MT cars? I’m trying to get more first hand reviews of the different options since anything above 60mph means you’re in 6th and above 2k rpms, so droning is a concern. I’m leaning towards a single exit, like SP1-R or similar, but I also want to be able to hear myself think when cruising on the highway

im boostlogic exhaust and catless on a MT. In sport mode its pretty bad lol in comfort mode I personally dont think its too bad but then again it could just be hearing loss?

Did you have the exhaust on at the same time as the OEM dp? If so, how was that? As of now I’m thinking of keeping the OEM dp or at most doing a high flow cat

Armytrix catless DP with AWE touring resonated here. Its perfect, no drone even at highway speeds. Dont be mistaken for sound vs drone at highway speeds. Cruising the volume is barely noticeable but any throttle even to casually pass someone will generate audible noise but its not drone.

Agreed that sound =/ drone, but higher revs means greater chance of drone so I’m just trying to be more informed before making a decision. Appreciate the info though

I have Catted Dps , intake and HKS hi-power and zero drone , sounds 10x better than stock. Changed the whole personality of the car!

I have Catted Dps , intake and HKS hi-power and zero drone , sounds 10x better than stock. Changed the whole personality of the car!
This is the combo I’m looking at. Which DP did you do?

I went with SP1-R on mine
stock dp? That 6th gear cruising sounds pretty tame and I like it

The answer is always AWE. It has a unique and throaty tone. The touring doesn’t drone in the cabin and it can be loud when you want it to be. High flow cat + Unresonated touring is the absolute best I’ve heard in any videos and of the handful I’ve hear in person.

I have 23 mt the aa catted dp with awe nonresonated and mst intake. I wouldn’t be happier.

This is the way. It really is. It’s a 9.9/10 setup! My only complaint would be the local PD don’t love the cold and warm starts.

Mine is a bit lower than I would like, but I’m on Whiteline suspension now. To be expected I suppose.

I personally think the sound clips of the hks hi power are better than awe to me. But to each their own
