Fender Fail

Placed a small brick under tire so that jack had clearance to take out. Well when I drove off very slowly the brick popped up and wedged itself between the tire and the fender. Bent it badly.....

Taking it to body shop tomorrow.....you think they can straighten this or I'll need a new fender? Just got this ceramic coated too. So pissed.

Good news is the wheels look great powder coated and the spacers make it look tough.

Ouch! Next time use a 2x12 about 2-3 feel long.

I had to do this with my E46 M3 to get the Jack under.
An alternative is to drive on ramps and Jack from there

I would suggest this quality floor jack which glides under the Supra even when lowered along with the jack puck.

get some aftermarket fenders, they look good! but no chance of fixing that for any reasonable cost, just replace it and learn from the expensive mistake. Good luck

I would suggest this quality floor jack which glides under the Supra even when lowered along with the jack puck.

Does it reach the lift point near the oil pan? I'm in the market for a low profile long reach jack.

Or just a HarborFreight light weight racing jack would do just fine for stock height.

Depending on availability of the fender, the shop might just have a PDR guy bend it back..

I found this online...not sure this is OEM and prob needs to be painted .... doubt its a $2k job, at least I hope not.

The best of all worlds would be to find a low mileage salvage Supra in red with factory paint and zero damage to the oem panel.

A simple bolt on with the durability of oem paint versus a repaint.

Might be worth some phone calls.

Only found a white salvage and I don't like the aftermarket ones. Took to dealer body shop - car will be done Wednesday and its $1,100 - can't stand looking at it anymore! lol
