Itâs to protect the paint from acid rain and bird poop and the like. Things that will etch the paint.Iâm just curious whatâs with the hood, double-bubble roof, swooping rear fender haunches, and the boot lid? Why âonlyâ some of the parts of the car are covered with the white sheet?
Right hand drive. And the yellow hits you right in the eye.LHD and no "Toyota" badge, I'm guessing these for destined for Japan?
I haven't seen no "toyota" badge on any?LHD and no "Toyota" badge, I'm guessing these for destined for Japan?
Ah, thanks.Right hand drive. And the yellow hits you right in the eye.
European Supras have them.I haven't seen no "toyota" badge on any?
Hybrid, in a way....East meets West. This is like a mixed child born in Germany going back to Japan for the first time.
Rapgard is typically it is applied to horizontal surfaces where stuff falling on it (acid rain, etc.) would be likely to sit and not run off.Iâm just curious whatâs with the hood, double-bubble roof, swooping rear fender haunches, and the boot lid? Why âonlyâ some of the parts of the car are covered with the white sheet?
My guess is that the adhesive in the rapgard would likely leave "stains" on the matte finish. Why aren't the Matte Gray ones covered as well?
The "Toyota" nameplate is on all Supra models sold outside of Canada, Japan and USA.I haven't seen no "toyota" badge on any?
Probably the covers will just leave dents on the special matte paint, so better not to have them. Why aren't the Matte Gray ones covered as well?
More West than East though. Engineered, powered, and manufactured by Europe. âChassis âtunedâ by the East. Definitely not a âhalfer,â more like 1/4 Eastern, at most, sadly.Hybrid, in a way....East meets West.
