LMFAO. If you think a manual isn't practical, you're missing a leg!
Why do actual race cars have automatics most of the time? It's weird how hard some of us push the manual. I get it, but the Supra changed my "manual only" stance. The only thing I miss is be able to rev on command. Otherwise autos have manual mode.

I find it funny that all the real race car drivers that make a living off it most often do not drive manuals in those money making races, yet the normies are all like "mANuAL or bust Bro!!!" "You're not a real driver brah," lol

I prefer manual transmissions because they offer a more engaging driving experience and force a large part of the results onto the skillset of the driver. Buying an automatic sports car contradicts the essence of spirited driving and is a bit of an oxymoron IMO. If you want a hands-off nannied experience, a Tesla Plaid with autopilot can take you to the finish line effortlessly just FYI ;)

And contrary to popular belief, it is possible to win races in a manual car. Every trophy and winning time slip I have was done in a manual car. Just ask my wife ?

Preference is understandable, but it seems to devolve into manual is better. It was my preference for sports cars or family cars prior to the Supra. I was a manual only guy before now. So I get it.

My argument would still be that most professional races are automatics, or at best seq shifters. Ive also heard the "more engaging" argument and idk...I don't race cars, but spirited driving to me isn't any different from manual to auto when the car responds instantly like the Supra does. No need to drop gears to come out of the corner faster. And the pros might like a word about that.

Also, definitely not saying you can't win races in manual, but you are at a disadvantage against autos, I'd think.

Ultimately, to each their own. The Supra broke my manual only stance, haha, so auto is my preference if it's as good as this car.

And and....that 2026 tho, haha. I like the MSRP and how it matches the price

No I mean I think in most cases you would be right. Automatics are no longer the slush boxes our parents had that's for sure!

A friend shared this with me on Instagram, and it perfectly captures why I only buy manual cars. Ironically, that friend drives a Prius. ?

"The car scene isn't full of drivers any more, it's full of passengers holding the steering wheel" - this line made me erect.

Well LA-DEE-DA, look at you Mr. Michael Schumacher. Ex-squeeze me, but can you tell me what the definition of the word supra is? EXACTLY! Common ya'll we gotta beat those Porsche GT3 RS's at the track! BTW getting bj's in a traffic jam with a manual is more of a pain in the ass compared to auto. Just sayin
