If it's not terrible like to the point that it's hazy, I'd leave it and just put protective film over it. my chip almost disappeared after putting xpel on it. if you do polish/compound it it may come out depends on depth of the chip, but you are taking thin layer off the plastic and making it even weaker.

I would love to get a clear bra and full hood done, but am really torn over the cost, and how to know if you are getting a good installer or not. I have two very tiny impact points, that most would not notice, but I do. I am really struggling with doing it or not. I bought the car to drive and enjoy, not spend every driving moment worrying about chips. For decodes, people have taken really good car of their car, and not had the film, sooo....

That was the reason for me to do full body wrap. Hood is not so bad. just buy pre-cut from Xpel. however, the bumper.. it's going to be very very hard and easy to mess up..

Sorry it occurred.. to protect it, I had get XPEL PPF for headlight which costed only $90 and I applied myself. so far, no one had noticed that I have ppf on on the headlight.

If it makes you feel better...I've got one in my headlight also....its a car, it's gonna happen. Don't sweat it, go drive it, you'll get a couple more and can eventually just replace the headlights if you keep it that long.

PPF (or we should call it LPF?) for the headlight is a must have.
Toyota does not sell the glass only but the whole headlight, you can find the repair kit from the part list but it does not include the glass.

Headlight PPF is a great way of preventing rock chips like that and even hazing/yellowing.
