Just installed my hks catback exhaust, been reading things about a break in period before it gets a tad bit louder and more of a deeper tone, does anyone have any experience with it sounding better after a break in period?

After you install it, hit the redline a few times.

Not sure about break-in, but when I installed my Dinan the burn off and white smoke at a red light scared the crap out of me one day. Don't be alarmed if this happens...

I don't really know the science behind an exhaust "break-in" but my HKS def seemed to sound better after a couple of weeks of driving

I swore that all my catback exhausts in my cars got louder over time, not sure if it was the noise isolation material breaking down or placebo....

Nothing like the $3500 exhaust that is being bypassed by the good ol' clamp delete/down pipe exit "valve".

Even with the loud setups, I feel like I get used to it over time and it seems quieter!
