Same here, although this was right at the end of covid so everything was still hard to find. Got lucky and found one less than 20 miles away and drove to the dealer to make a deposit

My local Auto Nation dealership wanted $10,000 over MSRP plus almost $2,500 in add-ons and said it would be 3 to 6 months to get the car! So I found the exact car I wanted on the Toyota inventory site and called the dealership and bought the car. It's due to arrive in 7 to 10 days. I'm so lucky. All I had to pay was the $499 'doc fee'. I'm in SW Florida (Cape Coral) and the car is 600+ miles away in Gainesville, GA. I plan to rent a car and drive there, spend the night and drive the Supra home the next day!

I had called about a white Supra they had listed on their website but it was already sold. When I was speaking to internet sales, she said she had a red one being built. Asked her what the price was, she said msrp was $61,830 (had locks and carbon fiber mirrors) but she could it to me for $57,164. I couldn't tell you how fast I pulled my wallet out to give her some deposit information.

Absolutely incredible. Great job man. And here ai thought I did great with getting my specific model built for me personally, having it 15 miles from home and at MSRP with no add ons. Love hearing those stories!

You did great! I would have loved to pick my color and spec but couldn't pass up the deal hoping for that! Red has actually grown on me quite a bit! so sleek

I got a red ‘24 for $5k under back in August. It sat on the dealer lot for a week before they dropped the price. It looks pretty sweet, it gets more attention from random people than I had expected. Red was also not my first choice, but it’s grown on me.

I got pretty lucky. It was the exact spec I wanted, in terms of color, trim, transmission (manual), and barely any add ons (less than $250 worth). It was in state got it & got it for $950 under MSRP. Approximately 55 miles away. I did finance with them, but that was to meet the exact amount principal+interest as getting it through the credit union, and I'm just going to refinance and get the lower rate soon anyways lol
