Plenty of attention in Seattle b/c afaik nobody else in the area really drives it downtown.

Lots of tech money over in neighboring Bellevue/Kirkland/Redmond, so it doesn't gather as much attention there unless we're all cruising.

Head more than 30 minutes in any direction, its a showstopper among the 20 million pickup trucks.

I used to think I was cool (and fast) driving around in a BRZ. Then before I even bought my Supra, I had rented one on turo. I came across another supra perpendicular to me at a stoplight and he gave me a rockstar hand and a nice launch when he got the light, then that same day some other car full of dudes was drooling at it, I'd be lying if I said I didn't like the attention though. Owning a Supra now, I get so much attention and I know I'm fast now.

I've never been raced in the BRZ but the Supra gets a race at least monthly (Current list from what I can remember: Model Y Performance (Pulled on them at 80), Challenger Scat Pack (We were basically standstill side by side, neither pulling on another), some random Charger (dusted), 350z (maybe 70, dusted), C8 on a mountain road through traffic (felt fair, car was still new to me), GR86 on highway through traffic (dusted, but they held on)

Car is indeed only recognized by dudes, the most unexpected compliment was from a dude who looked 70+ driving a prius, lots of random nice car / I like your car comments. When selling some BRZ parts a person asked a ton of questions about it and complimented it. And most recently at autox a guy with a brz was drooling over it and complimented the entire car and power after getting a ride. People stare though and I wonder what they're thinking.

First person to say anything was a guy in a GTR and he was so excited to see me on the freeway he couldn't stop giving me the thumbs up. He was from Illinois and seems to be heading back that way.

I had 2 moms in BMW suv catch up to me to tell me they love my car. Had mom with her kids drive by me saying it was the first Supra they saw on the road. One girl in an Accord passed me by on the highway as I was doing the speed limit and I saw her recording my car.

Well after that it was all dudes and a bunch of kids yelling as I drive by how much they love my car.

Back in early 2020 it was ridiculous for me with ppl taking videos, pictures, asking to see it, endless stories. Actually got annoying as hell- felt like I couldn’t leave it anywhere.

But my favorite experience was about 2 months ago this guy with a brand new white C8 convertible was clearly very proud of his brand new Vette. Parked right up front at the grocery store so everyone could see his new car. He was just getting out with his grandson (maybe 7 yrs old) when I drove by. Kid gets wide eyed and says “look at that car grandpa”! Thought that was hillarious.

Like literally all of it, lol. Endless attention. I live 30-50 minutes from Seattle and it still gets endless looks and comments and people chasing me down to chat when I park it. Made a couple friends just driving around.

Mine is lowered on 11" rears and has a spoiler. Looks 100* better than stock.

No stories other than ppl wanting to chat at red lights or the occasional, "does it have a 2jz?" (Lol ya I have 30+ year old engine in here, silly).

A guy with a like 400whp wrx caught me as I was going into Safeway. Ends up he's a close neighbor, and wants to go track with me.

Hell probably endless stories if we told em all. Randos in junkers wanting "see how fast it is" vs their nitroed tc lol.

It definitely has the modern 2JZ in the B58.

There's a couple of us who track our Supras up here, myself and @WSUPRA along with a few others who I don't think are on the forum.

Totally agree. Amazing potential, just like the 2jz. Holds more than enough power. And well it's up to date and has tons of the technology.

Always funny when you find the haters (they are abundant) because all I ever see is the a90 eating any older supra alive. Modded or not. Haven't seen older styles beat the a90 on track or drags, etc. But ya ..BMW lol.

I was hater then I got a supra and now it's like, hats off to bmw, haha.

Tons! I’m sure my car is the cause for quite a few sore necks. I get a ton of thumbs up, waves, stares, engine revs, etc. Though it can be really awkward I love it.
One of the cutest things (yes, cute) was I was driving and a guy just kept side by side with me. I finally looked over since I could feel him staring and he yells out “NICE CAR!” I replied “thanks!” And then he said “my daughter wants to hear it!” And this little girl, probably like 8 leans over and So I did. She was so happy and was clapping.
Also had some kid and his dad ask to take pics with the car. I think his son just came from homecoming or something.

This. The Supra connects with kids in such an amazing way. Had a kid walk up to me once from a Chick fil a and ask to take pics because it was his dream car. Gives me hope to keep it for a long time and those kids will have some money saved up to buy it when they enter the workforce.

Daily driven so daily for me. Majority are younger guys. Girls just ignore and live in their own reality. Not even a single glance over as if they have tunnel vision.

Every day, and I mean every day, I get a nice car, or thumbs up, or wow is that a supra, or can I take some pics of your supra, or what kind of car is that, or wow a supra I've never seen one in real life before, or I love your car, or people recording the car driving sown the street, etc. I live in a rural area so I have the only Supra around for probably 50 miles or more. I've never even seen another GR Supra on the road where I live. People go nuts over the car daily. I get college age kids telling me the Supra looks way better than the new corvette.

Age and gender range from 10-year-old boy who wanted to take video of the exhaust popping and banging, to a 20-year-old college girl who is into cars who wanted to go for a ride, to an 85-year-old woman who owned a supra 40 years ago and we talked about the Supras for 20 minutes, and everything else in between.

I've had a mustang, EVO, WRX, and Lexus and the Supra is by far the most popular car I've ever owned.
