Track weekend coming up in about a month.

my rear rotors are 6.3 mm thin

braking on track last weekend felt on point.

I have OEM rotors and DTC hawks 60/30

should I change now?

That's not how you measure brake rotors my guy. You won't be able to use those calipers since they'll catch the lip. Also measure from the outsides of both sides. Should be able to look up the specs for when they need to be replaced.

Since I change them with the pads, I no longer get rotor lip ? or need to measure anymore. My pads should be going out way before then.

If you’re showing lip in the rear rotors already, you need to hit the nanny button at least one click off. You’ll see the car road squiggly symbol come on as it should. You be smoother & safer. And the car won’t be grabbing brake in the rear when it senses you’re going too fast in the corners, like it should for non HPDE driving - on the street.
