I suspect that my car has a boost leak and Im trying to do a boost leak test however the pressure is not holding because the valves in the engine are open.

which makes it impossible to verify wether there is a leak or not

Does anyone have a solution for this?

If the valves in the engine are open, it will be difficult to perform a boost leak test because the pressure won't hold. One option is to use an adapter that can block off the intake and exhaust ports on the engine. This will prevent air from escaping and allow you to test for leaks.

Alternatively, you can try closing the valves manually by rotating the engine until the valves are closed. This can be done by removing the spark plugs and using a socket and ratchet to turn the engine. Be sure to follow proper safety precautions and consult a mechanic or expert if you are unsure about the process.

Another option is to perform a visual inspection of the engine and the boost system to check for any signs of leaks, such as damaged hoses, loose clamps, or cracks in the piping. This may not be as accurate as a boost leak test, but it can help you identify potential issues.

I'm determined that carmigo is a Google search bot.

The responses are like if you contact Amazon support and someone named "Johnny" assists you. Then replies in a foreign accent with a copied and pasted response, that's run through a chatbot.

Did you try rotating the engine by hand till the valves are closed?

Try harder, or just stop trying.
